Jammu & Kashmir to get its first Hindu Chief Minister, catch full news here

A new evolution has been cropped up in Jammu and Kashmir and it is anticipated that a big announcement would be made soon after when the Amarnath Yatra comes to a close. A group of PDP MLAs who are not really contended with Mehbooba Mufti is currently in talks with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in a bid to form a government. It is likely that J&K will get its first Hindu Chief Minister.

This sensational development was suggested by a senior BJP leader who is also a minister in the recent Jammu & Kashmir government. He stated “Nobody is willing to face elections and nobody wants to sit out of power for a quarter to three years. We have made the necessary arrangements. If all goes well with the Amarnath Yatra, we may make an announcement sometime in late August or early September”.

Another BJP leader stated the same as he added, “Yes, we discussed government formation. It’s true. We are looking at all possibilities. Maidan Khaali hai (The field is empty). Everyone is looking for possibilities. Everything seems possible right now. Let’s wait for the yatra to get over”.

Ram Madhav who played an integral role in shaping up the BJP-PDP alliance in Jammu and Kashmir had also held meetings with BJP MLAs at Sajjad Lone’s residence. Sajjad Lone was the first Kashmiri to raise his hands to support the BJP.

Lone, Ex-Kashmiri separatist showered praises on PM Modi and said “I cannot tell you how humble he is. He was talking as if I was the Prime Minister and not him. It was like two brothers talking to each other”.

The Amarnath Yatra that started on 28th of June will come to a close on 26 August. Everyone is eagerly waiting for the last week of August. Terrorism and stone pelting will become worse in the Kashmir valley if BJP gets support from the PDP MLAs.
