Shocking! A 10-year-old Child shot for plucking mango in Bihar, died on the spot

Humans can’t get any worse than this. In disastrous news that is hard to imagine, a 10-year-old boy was shot dead by the orchard’s watchman after when the boy plucked mangoes in Khagaria area of Bihar. This tragic incident happened in Pathraha village on Thursday.

The deceased is identified as Satyam Kumar whose body has been sent for post-mortem and the investigation have already begun, the police said.

At the time of the incident, the boy was shot dead on the spot. The police also confirmed that the boy was not alone as some other children were playing over there. Satyam’s father Manuki Yadav has accused the watchman Ramashish Yadav of shooting his son.

“Satyam’s father Makuni Yadav (38) had alleged that his child was shot dead over dispute of plucking mangoes. All others from the spot fled immediately and someone informed the villagers following which police were informed,” Gogri police station SHO Deepak Kumar Yadav said

“No empty cartridge or any firearm was recovered from spot. The body was handed over to family members after post mortem,” SHO Yadav echoed adding further that the orchard belongs to one Baroh Chaudhary.

“We have searched the suspect’s home and operations are on to arrest him. A case has also been registered,” the police official told ANI.
