Dog buried alive while laying road, Internet Explodes with Anger

Earth wasn’t created only for humans to seek solace but for other creatures as well. But the Humans are doing everything to make the planet look from bad to worse. They have already taken the world in a wrong way barring little positives to cherish.

In a shocking incident, a dog was buried alive while laying road in Agra. The workers were least bothered about the dog that was sitting on the road. The hot coal tar poured over the body of dog following which the dog howled in pain but the construction workers still kept on doing their job instead of rescuing the dog. Another report suggested that the workers couldn’t see the dog as they were laying the road at night time.

Govind Parashar who is a right-wing activist in Agra, said that he saw the dog’s legs were buried under the road and it was howling in pain. Moments later, he alleged, the dog passed away.

People who came to know about this incident, expressed their anger on social media platform. “A fresh layer of coal tar was being laid on the road from Phool Sayyed crossing towards the Circuit House and the Taj Mahal. A dog was sleeping on one side of the road. Instead of chasing the animal or removing it physically, burning coal tar was poured over it. Later, a road roller crushed the animal. The body has now disappeared,” social activist Naresh Paras told PTI.

“I felt really bad and I wanted to bury the dog, so we got the dog’s body dug out,” he said.

“I also wanted that road construction workers get a lesson so that they don’t do this again, so I filed a complaint against the construction company,” Mr Parashar told ANI.

Activists from various companies rushed to the spot and immediaitely seized the vehicles of the construction crew. They also demonstrated outside the Sadar police station in Agra to take severe action against the “dog killers.”

Anand Rai, a social activist, said, “Height of cruelty.” Saloni Rana commented “what else these insensitive people can do. Should be criticised and punished… where’s the world going!!” Senior journalist Sunayan Chaturvedi said “(it was) an act that shames humanity.” The contractor who is in-charge of the project said an inquiry was underway and “those found guilty would be shunted out as punishment.”

Humans aren’t giving any snippet of breathing space for the dogs to live peacefully. There has also been mass murder of stray dogs in some cities in India. A dog is a faithful animal and we just can’t figure out how much love dog has for us. He is the only living being on planet earth that loves you more than he loves himself. That’s the beauty of it.

Dogs are the most loyal animal, especially to human beings. They don’t talk but they understand people completely based on the body language and their behaviours. On the dark side, life has not been real good for stray dogs, because intentional animal cruelty keeps threatening the speechless creatures, day in and day out.
