“India Will Become Second Biggest Economy In The World in next 7 Years”, Kailash Vijayvargiya- BJP National General Secretary

No matter what, our politicians love to remain in the limelight. Once they feel they have been sidelined by the media- they launch hilarious comments in an attempt to draw public attention. We do hear jolly words from leaders from all across the political spectrum.  Time and again, they entertain people with their baseless statements.

This time a senior BJP leader- Kailash Vijayvargiya- who is currently acting as the National General Secretary- a prestigious position in the party, depicted Modi ji’s achievements in rather a strange way. The tall leader has been in controversy many a time in the past as well. Sometimes he even apologized for his insensitive statement- when the situation went out of control.

Kailash Vijayvargiya was addressing a gathering of BJP workers on Wednesday at HR Green hotel in Indore. It was a meeting to boost the morale of workers before the upcoming assembly elections. While delivering speeches, he made many tall claims which may not go down well with the educated youths of the country.

He claimed that India would become the second biggest economy in the world by 2025 (in only 7 years). Hearing this news, BJP workers broke into applause with roaring cheers. They felt immensely proud of their party. The leader further claimed that several global organizations including the International Monetary Fund (IMF) have told this.

Mr. Vijayvargiya did not stop here, he further spoke of recently tested Agni 5 missile and said, “Friends, India has launched a very big missile 3 days ago. India can destroy every part of China. It happened only under Modi ji’s leadership. There was no such missile before.”

The fact of the matter is Agni-5, which is a ballistic missile, has a strike range of 5,000km. Surely, entire China is under its range but it was first successfully test fired on April 19, 2012 at 8.05 am. So the claim, that only under Modi ji’s leadership India got a missile which can hit every part of China, carries no weight. It is saddening that his supporters ‘proudly’ believed this news.
