Nigerian boy had nearly died- but this lady saved and changed his fortune- TheYouth story

It is always sad and heartbreaking to see parents leaving their beloved child to die at a such a very young age. There are many ways to bring up and nurture the child in the best possible way but instead, the parents abandoned the three-year-old Nigerian boy in January two years ago because they thought he was a ‘witch’.

The poor little boy was so skeletal that he could hardly stand. He was suffering with worms in what was a terrible thing to experience at this small age. He was found wandering the streets naked. With no proper food in his tummy and being dehydrated for a year, it was really disheartening to see him going through one heck of a hell on Earth instead of the simple life which he thoroughly deserved.

However, he ran through a miraculous recovery when he was rescued by the golden lady named Anja Ringgren Loven. When no one bat an eye on the child, Danish philanthropist came forward to rescue him at the best scene. This indeed goes to show that humanity and care still exist in the world. Anja proved what she was capable of and her act is the best example of it.

The little kid was snapped on his first day at school just one year after being rescued. From what we can come to a firm conclusion after seeing the picture is that, the boy has attained a drastic transition in a year. This marvellous thing has happened because of this lady. Let’s appreciate her for what she has done and the parents who abandoned him deserve a slap in the face.

“On the 30 of January 2016, I went on a rescue mission with David Emmanuel Umem, Nsidible Orok and our Nigerian team. A rescue mission that went viral and today it’s exactly 1 year ago the world came to know a young little boy called Hope. This week Hope will start school,” quoted the lady.

Hope was rushed to the local hospital after being found wandering the streets by Ms Anja Loven, where he was given proper medication to get rid of the worms in his stomach. Also, he was given daily blood transfusions to absorb more red blood cells into his body. These things entirely changed the complexion of his body and hence the recovery was possible.

If sources are to be believed, Ms Loven, who runs an orphanage in Nigeria, raised around £790,000 from donors across the world to help treat Hope after she found him. The woman with a golden heart is a recognisable personality and has been one of the most influential people in the world. The fact that she brought a grinning smile on the child’s face stands out the best thing in the world.

Ms Loven is the founder of the African Children’s Aid Education and Development Foundation, which she established four years ago to help children who have been ignored by parents in Africa. She opened an orphanage with her husband, David Emmanuel Umem, in January two years ago.
