While we are busy, PV Sindhu creates history in a thrilling final by clinching Korea Open Title

After fabulous performance at the World Championships, PV Sindhu once again takes the whole world by surprise by winning the Korea Open title in their own soil.

She thrashed Nozomi Okuhara in an exciting match in which she got the upper hand.

The first game was very close and the Rio silver medallist won it 22-20. Okuhara gave a reply by levelling it with a 21-11 clinch in the following round..

The final round witnessed Sindhu domination of the game at the right time and the Japanese was absolutely clueless of what was they were seeing. She won it 21-18 and the trophy was hers.

If you remember, Nozomi had diefeated PV Sindhu at the World Championnships recently and she finally took ravenge for the defeat in the Korea Open.

This is yet another victory for the celebrated Indian player of badminton. She once again proves that women are no less than men in making the country proud abroad.
